As a brand dedicated to safe and responsible dog walks, we at FIDA believe giving back to the community is part of our mission. This October, we were proud to sponsor a silent auction in support of the inspiring work done by Duck Team 6 Street Dog Rescue in Dallas. In this article, we’ll briefly introduce Duck Team 6, review the silent auction event, and share how FIDA’s ongoing support for animal welfare aligns with our values and products.
Meet Duck Team 6
Duck Team 6 Street Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) volunteer‐run organization based in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area whose mission is “to reduce the street dog population through Capture, Placement, and Outreach.” Since 2010, they’ve captured hundreds of stray or at-risk dogs, provided veterinary and spay/neuter services in underserved communities, and found loving forever homes.
Their outreach efforts include helping families with low resources care for their pets, providing fencing or dog houses, and rescuing dogs in imminent danger. The work often involves lengthy search and capture missions, medical care, and rehoming efforts.
The October 2025 Silent Auction Event
In early October 2025, Duck Team 6 hosted a silent auction fundraiser to support their capture-and-placement programs. FIDA proudly contributed exclusive walking gear and accessories for the auction and encouraged the community to participate. The event successfully raised funds for veterinary care, foster support, and outreach to neighborhoods with stray and neglected dogs.
Participants enjoyed browsing donor items, placing bids, and learning more about Duck Team 6’s work. It was a meaningful opportunity for supporters of animal welfare to make a direct impact—and to walk the talk in their communities.
